MADO clock now in unique clock museum in Russia.
The Clock Museum is a landmark not only in the city of Angarsk, but in the whole of Russia. The collection of Pavel Vasilyevich Kurdyukov (1908-1985), became the basis for the creation of the first in Russia Museum of watches and clocks. The exposition presents the 18th-20th century clocks from countries of Western Europe, Russia, Japan in bronze, marble, porcelain and wood frames. In the collection there are unique exhibits - clock of France, England XVII-XIX centuries, Pocket wooden clock of Russian wonder of Bronnikov masters. The museum is also the owner of the most interesting collection of Japanese clocks of the late XIX-early XX centuries. In December 2016, the museum held a charity ball "Precious Time", during which the museum was presented with a wall clock "MADO". In mid-March 2017, the presentation of this clock took place at the museum, attended by representatives of the city administration. |
